RUN WITH THE GHOST - 5k Run / 3K Walk

What could be more fun than running around Lombard in a Halloween costume? On October 25th we get a chance to end WORLD POVERTY in a very cool way. We have a 5K Run / 3K Walk - but here's the catch: EVERYONE HAS TO BE DRESSED IN A COSTUME!!!! Kids (yes, there is a Kid's Run), parents, singles, older, younger - everyone in a costume running / walking down Lombard, Stewart and Craig. C'mon, anyone can run / walk with shorts and a T-shirt, try doing it in full costume! Oh yeah, here's the WORLD POVERTY part - to be able to run, you need to write a letter to your Congressman or media outlet urging them to do something about the 1 billion people who live on a dollar a day. (If you need any help with that see the two links below under the RUN WITH THE GHOST LETTER title). There's food, there's fun, there's fommunity (sorry, needed an "f"). So come on down and be a part of this incredible event!
