PADS ROCKS!

GREATEST CREW EVER!
One of our homeless buddies said, "You guys were kind of loud this morning!' It was the sound of laughter coming out of the kitchen. Our breakfast crew was on its A Game - it was like a freakin' comedy show in there. And what's neat about the whole thing is that joy spreads from the kitchen to the dining room to the bedroom. It really is becoming a party at First Church every first and third Tuesday. THANKS FOR THAT! I would guarantee you won't find a better group of homeless or homeful people anywhere! The way everyone does whatever it takes and loves the way Jesus would love - it's incredible.

Now, if anyone would like to go further and see how we could get more involved with DuPage PADS and the lives of our buddies, I'm going to arrange for a PADS volunteer to get us more information on next steps.

If two weeks a month is just not enough, or if you'd like get to know the people that hang out at PADS on a deeper spiritual level, we're thinking of starting up small groups that form out of the awesome people that are already hanging out at PADS.....maybe even some way to do that on Tuesday nights / Wednesday mornings!
