FIRST FRIDAY!

In Acts, they talk about how a group of Christ followers met daily....and incredible things happened. Well, we don't meet daily...yet, but FIRST FRIDAY is our monthly meeting to start the process of building community. This is a great chance to meet some of the coolest people in Lombard, and maybe form some relationships that you'd want to continue in a small group. And this FIRST FRIDAY is extra special: WE'RE COLLECTING THE ARKS! Last month we sent out ARKS to collect money for Heifer International with the goal of raising $500 to purchase an actual Heifer, and we're pumped to see how close we got. WANTED: CRAZY PEOPLE TO MEET DAILY

So, I'm really intriqued by what would happen if a group of people met daily for prayer and studying the Bible. I know that there are a lot of reasons that is not possible in the suburbs, but I'd like to try it anyway. Is there anyone crazy enough to meet somewhere in the early morning to do this? Or are there people out there who'd commit to chatting on Facebook daily with a focus on prayer and Bible study? I'm just wondering! Maybe this won't work...and maybe nothing great would even come out of it, but I'd love to experiment for a little bit. What esle you gonna do at 6 a.m.?
